Salisbury police say 17-year-old Byron Brush Jr. was seriously injured while trying to make explosives with smokeless gun powder in the bathroom of his home on Newsome Road.
Smokeless gun powder is used to reload ammunition and can be bought legally.

Back in high school the kid (around 12 or 13) that lived two houses down from my girlfriend ripped out his own throat with a homemade rocket. Kids do stupid things. It’s unfortunate that they sometimes die from it. That kid was home by himself when it happened. His parents found him when they got home.:(
